Who we are
Jungle Badger Finds (junglebadgerfinds.com) is operated by The Jungle Badger Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13355180), registered office Amelia House, Crescent Road, Worthing, West Sussex, England, BN11 1QR. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What this site does
We publish information about products sold on Amazon and link to them. We don't sell products, take payments or create customer accounts. When you buy something after clicking one of our links, the purchase happens on Amazon, under Amazon's own privacy notice.
What we collect and why
Advertising and measurement cookies (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we load the Meta pixel and the AppLovin (Axon) pixel. These set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view, the ad that brought you here, your IP address, browser and device details, and a unique identifier. We use this to measure whether our advertising works and to show our ads to people likely to find them useful. Meta and AppLovin may also use this information for their own purposes as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Our lawful basis is your consent. If you click "Reject", these tags never load. See our cookie policy for the full list.
Emails you send us
If you contact us, we use your name, email address and message to reply. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Technical and security data
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Who we share data with
- Meta Platforms (Meta pixel), with your consent
- AppLovin / Axon (Axon pixel), with your consent
- Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider
- Amazon: when you click a link to Amazon, Amazon receives the referral so we can be credited for qualifying purchases
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it
We don't sell your personal data for money.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, standard contractual clauses or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep data
- Cookie consent choice: until you change it or clear your browser storage
- Advertising cookies: as set by Meta and AppLovin (see our cookie policy)
- Emails to us: up to 2 years after our last contact
Your rights (UK and EU)
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time: use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. To exercise a right, email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Your rights (United States)
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of "sharing" or "targeted advertising". Our use of advertising pixels may count as sharing under some state laws. You can opt out at any time by choosing "Reject" in our cookie settings. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out. To make any other request, email [email protected]. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
